One, is my sweet almost one year old son. He was a micro preemie, born 10 weeks 5 days early. He spent 29 days in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and now has regular therapy to help him catch up. Prior to his birth, I was a career nanny, but after he came home and his father and I separated, I decided to stay home. We live simply, enjoying time outside, crafting, singing, and reading. I can't imagine my life without him or living any other way.

My name is Audrey. I'm a 24 single mother to a beautiful little boy,
One (stay tuned for his "About Me" post). I stay home with him to save money on child care and help his development. I am a cloth diapering, extended nursing, baby wearing mama who loves all things Waldorf and shabby chic. I am passionate about education, art, music and creating. Thank you for taking the time to read my big, getting to know me and joining me on my journey!
In love and light

I'm truly enjoying not having neighbors on every side of us and being able to go on walks.
Our house is an adorable Cape Cod style cottage in need of some tlc.
I'm very excited to get started on some projects and make this place our own. So far, I have mostly done some decluttering, but today I went to the grocery store and bought some flowers to brighten up the house. There was a sale on daisies (my favorite!) and some others. I think they look quite beautiful and I love that I got such a great deal!
Speaking of deals, I got Little One a precious knit outfit at Target yesterday. I prefer handmade or vintage looks on him, and usually don't buy clothes except at thrift stores, but this was so cute and half off that I had to get it! The best part is, when I got to the register, it ended up being even less than listed :-)
